Royal Horticultural Society
Atlantic Mats Ltd is the exclusive licensee of the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) for the production and sale of RHS-branded rugs and doormats in the UK.
This exclusive licence, awarded in 2023, allows Atlantic Mats to design, manufacture, and distribute RHS rugs and doormats using official RHS artwork and designs from the RHS Lindley Library collections.
The previous UK licence held by Hug Rug (Phoenox Textiles Ltd) concluded in 2023. While some retailers may still be selling through remaining Hug Rug RHS-branded stock, no new production or marketing of RHS rugs or doormats by Hug Rug or any other manufacturer or retailer is authorised under the current licensing agreement.
All new RHS rugs and doormats available from 2023 onwards are designed and produced exclusively by Atlantic Mats Ltd, under licence from the Royal Horticultural Society.
